It is no secret that SMS chatting or text messaging is the latest mobile craze to sweep the nation. Of course, it is also no secret that the native Windows Mobile text messaging application leaves a little to be desired. Enter iWindows Mobile. Clinton Fitch took a look at iWindows Mobil’s SMS-Chat program, which includes the coveted text messaging, and liked what he saw. According to Clinton:
If you are one who uses SMS a lot, SMS-Chat could prove to be a real frustration saver. Not only are you able to keep your SMS messages neatly organized, but you are able to see the conversation in order, something that can be an ever increasing challenge the more messages you get each day - or hour! SMS-Chat is backed up by online support at http://vitotechnology.com/en/support/ as well as a well developed help file in the application. Test messages sent to support were answered in 24 hours or less and proved to be accurate.

And while we are on the subject, many of you may have the opportunity to exchange text messages with Clinton and often wonder, as I do, what phone he is using on the other end of the conversation. Well, wonder no more, as Clinton has unveiled his latest phone, the MWg Atom Life. Check out Clinton’s unboxing photos of his latest toy…I mean, phone…right, here.

My SMS-Chat trial just ran out, and I think I’ll be buying the program this week. I loved everything about it except that it only works by touch–you can’t use the soft buttons or directional pad to do anything.
By the way, it’s VITO Technology that makes SMS-Chat. There’s no company called iWindows Mobile–VITO just uses iwindowsmobile.com to market its WM products.
Hey, Jordan. Glad to hear SMS-Chat is working so well for you. Yeah, I know that iWindows MObile is a creation of Vito. In all of my dealings with them, they make an effort to keep the iWindows Mobile line seperate from their other stuff, so we do the same. But you are absolutely right that they are one and the same.
