I hope everyone had a very enjoyable Memorial Day, and remembered to think of those who have served, or are currently serving, in the military.  Some of you sent some inspirational stories, but I think the one that got me the best was from paschott, who told of his great-uncle who served to protect and idiot’s right to say stupid things about this country.  That kind of freedom is exactly why we have troops stationed around the world.

Thanks to everyone who sent such truly inspirational and wonderful stories to honor our military.  It was tough to choose the winners, but select them, I did (actually using a completely random method which I like to call, “close your eyes and point.”)  So, without further delay, here are the winners:
