If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

One of our short term goals here at My Today Screen was to hit 1000 RSS subscribers by the end of June.  Well, thanks to all of you fantastic readers, we met that goal, a full 20 days early.  So, you all remember the carnival game where you hit the bell to win a prize?  Well, we hit the bell (100 readers) so you can win a prize.

We’ll make this one an easy contest.  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling us what your favorite post has been on My Today Screen so far.  That’s it.  One entry per customer.

Want to know what is on the line?  I’m sure you do.  Well, Omega One is pulling out all of the stops with this contest.  You can pretty much have your pick of their catalogue.  We’ll give three lucky winners an opportunity to peruse Omega One’s entire catalog of programs and select any one they want.

So, thanks for all of your fantastic support.  We never would have reached 1000 (actually 1014)  So, thank you and good luck!

Contest Ends Friday, June 13 at 11:59 PM.

I LOVE the Shootout section, is that a cop-out to name a section instead of a particular post? The Weather App shootout was a great one and the “Browser” post was a good one too, even though that wasn’t a shootout, some of the things mentioned in that post were also some of the things I had in mind.

Its hard to pick just one post. I like how many contests you have and the Mobile Roundups!

My favorite post of the recent batch is the one on the HTC Raphael (now the Touch Pro). I have been waiting for this phone to be more than just words and it looks like it will be available one of these days. Thanks for the info.

Wow, just one? I dont think I can do that. All the Arcades are good. I really enjoyed the Jabra reviews. Very helpful. And I enjoy the abundant giveaways. :P

I find that you have one of the best sites in terms of thinking about the average user, like me. I think my favorite and the one that will be most useful to me at this point in my mobile experience is the review by Tariq on Opera Mini 4.1 on April 17th and the subsequent link to Werner Ruotsalainen’s online manual. I have had my Windows Mobile phone up and running for about a week and already I am frustrated with Internet Explorer. I am looking forward to installing Opera Mini and the resources you put at my fingertips will be most helpful.
Thank you!

You mean not counting the “temporary post used for style detection” posts? Man, that gets tough.

I liked the Weather App Shootout and really liked the “Make Your Device Work For You” posts. Honestly, I’ve been pretty impressed overall with the posts on this site.

I liked your very first post and the way you introduced your new site - BUT my favorite post is today’s post and the great prizes on offer.

Congrats MTS team on reaching this goal!

I can’t go with a single post either, because it’s really the series that turn out to be most valuable, when combined. So the Arcade, Shootout(s) and Make your device work for you are all most valued. (That of course doesn’t mean I don’t care for the single reviews and news posts, Doug knows that I’m always interested in game reviews).

I liked the weather shootout also. Those reviews really help out a lot. I thank all who have made this site what it is. I check it every day to keep up on what is going on in the Windows Mobile world.

By the way - it the amount of subscribers e-mail only? Or does it include RSS as well?

I really really really really like the “make your device work for you”-entries….Also the software-reviews are much appreciated over here!

The arcade roundups are great, since I’m a sucker for mobile games. My other fav are the “make your device work for you” articles. Let’s face it, most new and even some seasoned users out there in TVland want to get their mobile devices up and running quickly, efficiently, and reliably, and the howtos provide excellent nuggets of wisdom for empowering(ugh, I hate that politicized word anymore) end users.

Personally, I got a kick out of seeing one of my suggestions mentioned after kickoff contest V. It seems like folks often ask for feedback, then never read it! It was nice to see the feedback not only mentioned, but almost instantly addressed. Now if I could only win a prize… :)

Thanks, guys. Great feedback so far. And I am thrilled to see that the areas we expect to have a big impact ar the same areas which you all are highlighting. And we have plenty more coming. Including some pretty ambitious surprises which Tariq and I were discussing last night.

Thanks to all of you for being part of our community.

Doug

I would have to say that my favorite post(s) are the Mobile Roundups.

I like the series about registry hacking.
Thanks for a great read.
(I read Today Screen using RSS feed to my ATT Tilt using NewsBreak from Ilium)

I like the reviews posts, the Boxwave active case, and the Lil synch reviews were great, and I also now use alarmpal.

It is so hard to pick just one post. I would have to go with the mobile roundups, though the shootouts are close seconds.

I’m a real big fan of the full articles in my RSS feeds. I don’t click around too much at work, so I love it when my news is right there on my homepage. Favorite article: The PPCTechs Mobile Power Pack review. Very balls out, I like that. If not for you guys, I would have never heard of that awesome idea.

Easy: the “Make your device work for YOU!” registry tweaks!

As Ken noted, the “Make your device work for you” series has been great. A lot of the “tweaks” I have learned to implement through an intense amount of research I think we all go through with a new phone, but the article(s) have provided for a great “condensed” version with some new “tweaks”.

Hmmm… tough call. Mobile roundup? Weather app comparision? Google Maps (which I had not tried before)…….

Just found the site, so I’ll have to go for a recent post as favorite: “Welcome to Freeware Square”. Some old favorites rec’d, & plenty of new ones to try. Thank you.
