Get Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta 2 Now!
Yes it’s now available at an Opera download site near you. For those interested, be sure to uninstall the first version before installing this be beta as some users have reported memory issues for not doing so.
This new version loads pages faster (thank god) and even adds widgets which is similar to its desktop counterpart. Included with your install are Twitter, AccuWeather, a clock, Shopping List, and a game called Bubbles. Nothing that makes you go wow for now but that might just change in the future.
For those wondering about Flash support, it’s still not available. Also, only the English version is available and if you are using customized SIPs, it’s still pretty messed up. So what are you waiting for?

I really like the new version. It seems to load pages much faster and render sites a little bit better too. I may switch back to Opera from Iris to read my Google Reader articles on the go. I just swapped out my Q9H for a WinMo Pro phone (keep reading here to find out which one), so it was perfect timing.
Now if they can just get Flash working…I may use Skyfire too.
Correction: If they get Flash working I may NOT use Skyfire too
