Get Picasa Web Albums On Windows Mobile

Although an iPhone version of Picasa Web Albums was already out there, one of the guys at the Google Mobile Team has decided make a Windows Mobile version of Picasa Web Albums so that us Win Mob users don’t feel so left out.

Using the newly announced Google Gears for Mobile, they have added a few new features like viewing albums of your choice offline, and adding a Picasa icon as a shortcut for faster album access.

To check out the Picasa Web Albums on your Windows Mobile 6 touchscreen smartphone, just go to picasaweb.google.com on your Internet Explorer Mobile browser.

Looks pretty slick. What do you think?

doesn’t work in Opera Mini :(

slick in PIE though…

Mobile Google Gears detected the site right away as being Gearable..
