GooSync Now Does Task

GooSync Ever since Google Calendar came up with the application to allow you to sync your Outlook Calendar with it, I always wondered what would happen to GooSync. Sure it allows you to directly sync between your Windows Mobile device and your Google Calendar so Mac and Linux users be make this their application of choice. But what about Windows users who I guess are their majority of users?

For those unaware, GooSync comes in 2 version, the Free and the Premium. Free lets you sync just your calendar with that of Google’s. And you can only sync up to 30 days in advance and 7 days in the past. With the Premium option, you can do it with multiple calendars, sync up to 365 days in advance and even sync both your contacts and tasks.

GooSync Menu Bar

Now we all know that Google Calendar doesn’t do tasks so how does GooSync accomplish this? You’ll need to use the GooSync menu bar. More information here.

If GooSync is on your payroll, be sure to check out this new offering by them.

P.S. For users of FireFox, you can now incorporate tasks with your Google Calendar using this plug-in. (via jkOnTheRun)
