One of the great things about being part of a community is that you get to celebrate your birthday with them. And even though Doug may not be here with us (he’s actually on vacation, the lucky guy), I’m sure he’ll be more than elated when he sees this message just for him. So join me in wishing him a happy birthday:
Like all things cyber, so is the cake
I first met Doug online (like most of you I guess) and it was when I was running Eten Blog and he was managing Just Another Mobile Monday. We hit it off pretty well right from the beginning. When my server crashed, I felt it was time to move on from Eten Blog to something more general (Windows Mobile) and Doug was also looking for a new outlet. Like they say in the movies, the stars were aligned perfectly and before we knew it, My Today Screen was born. It’s a lot of work to run this site but with Doug on our team, it just doesn’t feel like work.
