Yesterday (September 30) marks the launch date of the SonyEricsson XPERIA X1 with UK, Germany and Sweden being the lucky trio to get their hands on it first. Not being in those markets our region, I am not sure if they’ve even hit the stores so if you’re around the area, let us know in the comments below yeah? And don’t forget the price as well.
The XPERIA X1 is definitely one great device. It’s quad band GSM (GSM850/GSM900/GSM1800/GSM1900) and penta band (UMTS850/UMTS900/UMTS1700/UMTS1900/UMTS2100), if you can call it that, makes it a truly world phone. But that’s not just it’s edge: it packs 32bit Qualcomm MSM7201A, 528MHz CPU, 384MiB RAM, 512MiB ROM, 3″ 480×800 color transflective TFT display, 3.5mm audio jack as well as a 3.1MP auto focus camera into a 52.6×110.5×17mm that weighs just 158g. Excited yet?
I know I am. Until I can get my hands on one, I’ll just have to fill my time playing with the X1’s micro site (which is pretty informative too). (via SolSie.com)
