Yeah, I was really shocked by no microSD slot. That is a real problem for me as I am not about to change my playlist on a regular basis.

Or you can change your few playlists everytime you sync. I for one, like the size and weight of such a device. It looks small and more phone-like like the Touch. But too bad it doesn't have the micro-SD slot! Oh well, no such thing as a perfect device yet. :(

I have been looking at the specs for this one, and there are two things that ar serious concerns for me.

1. 900 mAh battery. I mean, come on. You cannot tell me that this wild VGA 3-D display will take less power than my Mogul which has a battery almost double the size.

2. 4 GB of storage memory with no memory card slot. I am OK with the 4GB of memory (more than OK) if it is expandable. But with no option to expand, this is just not going to be an acceptable amount of memory. First, we all know that the entire 4GB will not be available to you. But let's say you get 3.5 GB. Now, you need storage for all of your programs, PIM data, emails, RSS feeds, and other random things. That does not leave a lot of room for multimedia, especially considering movies can take up to 1.5 GB or more. Don't plan on using this as a music player unless you only enjoy a very small library of music.

I think there should be US variants of it as well so you would not have to worry about the Triband.

Yeah that's right. Leave it to the carriers to remove features from it.

Finally, HTC is the first one to actually create a phone that works well as VGA device in a small package. I might have to retire my E-Ten X500+ when it comes to the States. I especially like the 192 mb of RAM it has, although it's Tri-band not Quad. Do you think it will still work well on T-Mobile??

You have to give HTC credit for one thing... They have done a great job going from hardware only to software enhanced hardware better than anyone else recently. Now lets hope the domestic carriers don't completely neuter this thing before it gets to us.
