Ilium Releases eWallet 6.1

eWalletWith us spending so much time on the internet nowadays, it can be really tough remembering all those passwords and login credentials. But those are not just the important details you need handy. Have you ever been in a situation where you needed a card but had left it at home. If only you had the account number handy, you could have enjoyed a 30% discount or free entry. With a wallet application on your device, those days can be over as soon as you migrate your data to it.

eWallet by Ilium Software is one of the contenders and it’s on my device. It’s a really awesome piece of software that helps your store such personal data safely and conveniently. I have been using eWallet 6.0 for quite a while now and have been pleased with it but now with 6.1 just released, a great piece of software just got even better.

For starters, here are just some of the new features you can expect from it:

  • Personalize your card fields to work best for you: assign a type to any field in a card. Set multiple hidden fields, phone numbers, live email or web links, choose which fields to use with AutoPass – any type of data you want!
  • Get quick access to your most-used cards: create card shortcuts and build a Favorites folder for the info you want to open fast.
  • Design the background you want for every card: choose a gradient or solid color, add one of our free background images or create your own!
  • Search smarter: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you’re looking for.
  • Save time and make custom templates fast: creating and editing your card templates is now easier than ever.
  • Work faster on a non-touchscreen device: Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone) users can now enjoy easier card editing on their devices.

Not to mention all the bug fixes that comes with each version release. eWallet 6.1 is a free upgrade for registered users of eWallet 6.0. If you a registered user of an earlier version, you can purchase an upgrade for $16.95 which gives you the codes for one Windows Mobile AND Windows PC.

If you have not gotten eWallet 6.1, be sure to give it a try and you’ll wonder how you’ve been coping before. (via Ilium Software Pres Release)
