If you enjoy sending messages in 160 character blocks, then you probably spend most of your time communicating via text messaging. And, you probably are also aware that one of the biggest complaints about Windows Mobile text messaging is the lack of threaded SMS conversations. Well, that problem is now solved, thanks to iWindows Mobile and their new update of the popular SMS Chat.
In addition to threading you text messages, The new version of SMS-Chat presents also offers a variety of new improvements, including:
- switch off the onscreen alerts to hide the onscreen SMS notification.
- create and use your own templates for quick answers so that you can send answers immediately
- open hyperlinks and dial phone numbers directly from the message with a single tap
- send your contacts’ phone numbers to another recipient
- use the default folders to save text messages.
The new update also fixes most of the bugs which had been identified in the previous version, as well as an array of other minor additions.
Check out SMS-Chat at iwindowsmobile. You can download the trial version or purchase the full registered version for only $14.95.

What is the keyboard shown in the screenshot please?
Marisa,

ZoomBoard with a black skin!
Well, that would figure, they wouldn’t use a different keyboard other than their own, and they have recently made another of their programs ‘black’ and now sms-chat, perhaps this is a pre release version of a ZoomBoard update. Exciting!
You guessed it Marisa. Today, iWindows Mobile announced a new “Black” skin for ZoomBoard. Enjoy.
