Launch Giveaway Part 4: Have You Seen Us

One of the great things about the online community of Windows Mobile device sites is the amount of support we all give to each other. If you have been around for a while, you have probably noticed how frequently many sites link to each other’s reviews and articles. I was particularly reminded of this fact when launched My Today Screen. Our press release and launch information was posted on a variety of sites, and I know this helped lead many of you here. So, what I want to know is where have you seen us? What sites have you seen linking back to My Today Screen? Either announcing our launch or linking back to one of our posts? Let us know by using the contact form to send me a link to the article you saw, or by emailing them to admin [at] mytodayscreen.com (remember to replace the at with a @. Bonus points if you show me one that I have not seen before. Of course, you can also choose to leave a comment on this post for a single entry (and don’t forget that gravatar).

Hi,
As a long time JAMM reader, I noticed that you are going to leave from this post: http://justanothermobilemonday.com/Wordpress/2008/03/13/goodbye-and-good-luck/. That was quite a nasty surprise for me, because I really enjoyed your monthly Freeware Games Review and audio gear reviews (Such as UE Super.fi 3 review). I also learned about My Today Screen from JAMM http://justanothermobilemonday.com/Wordpress/2008/03/26/get-my-today-screen-on-your-today-screen/ and Gear Diary http://www.geardiary.com/2008/03/26/please-join-me-in-congratulating/.
I am happy to see you are back with a great new website. After a long time I added a new Pocket PC related website to my RSS reader
Good luck and lots of readers,
wolfie
Hey, Wolfie. Great to see you here.
You knew when I left JAMM that I would land on my feet eventually. But I will tell you that I miss hanging out with some of the fantastic folks over there.
And don’t worry. You will be happy to know that The Arcade has moved with me, and I will be starting that back up again very soon.
Doug
I saw your website announced on Iliumsoft’s blog:

I sent you my email entry, but here are a couple of other sites. One I saw before, and the other was from google.

Hi Doug,
The Arcade will continue? A great news indeed, I have few tips for a freeware games for you:
Mollusk (http://www.xflib.net/) coded more interesting free games since your february round-up – Pocket Gravity seems to be a very interesting game.
Creatonia (http://www.creatonia.com/) – formerly commercial RPG became freeware.
Mothiva Games (http://mothiva.com/games/free) used to be commercial as well, they are free for some time now (though they are not well known).
I am sorry for hijacking the comments with an off topic one.
wolfie
Thanks, Wolfie. I already have Creatonia on April’s list.
But I will certainly check out the others for later in the spring.
Doug
Wolfie, hijacking the comments with such a comment is always great!
One way to find the site is by going to Eten Blog dot com. It just redirects you here now (not surprising as Tariq ran it).
was really glad to find your site.
first impressions are magic – keep it up.
at last – real reviews, in depth & not afraid to express a personal opinion.
jon
Thanks, Jon. Tariq and I are both experienced reviewers, and we have tried very hard to put together a committed team. That means even more in-depth reviews will be coming soon. We are very happy you found us.

Ps I have an Htc touch & would like to find an MSX emulator & software {I wrote software professionally for it long ago & am keen on revisiting my past glories }
Wow, Jon. I think you are really dating yourself.
I am not much of one for emulators, but I do not recall seeing one. If anyone else is more into the emulating genre, let Jon know what you have found.
Doug
Very good written article. It will be helpful to anyone who usess it, including yours truly
. Keep doing what you are doing – can’r wait to read more posts.
