More Details About Sprint’s Treo 800w

As July 13 2008 looms, you can’t help but read more and more about the Treo 800w which Sprint is expected to launch on that (much) anticipated date. For those of you who’ve been eyeing this phone since last year, here are some hard specs to confirm your suspicions. For starters, it’s going to be clocked at 333MHz (which is something I have not seen on a Windows Mobile device) with a 320×320 screen. It doesn’t seem to big judging from its 4.4.1” x 2.28” x 0.73” dimensions and 4.94oz of weight.

It even comes with WM6.1 (so you’ll get threaded text messages). Unfortunately, Multimedia Messaging (MMS or what Sprint calls Picture Mail) is sorely missing from this device.

So are you still going to get it come July 13? Or was the lack of MMS a deal breaker for you. I guess the bigger question is: Will Sprint really launch the Treo 800w on July 13 or will we see yet another delay? (via The Boy Genius Report)
