More Site Changes
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Unless you have been reading the articles on My today Screen from a news reader, you would not have noticed the changes we have made to the site. To such users, we invite you to come and take a look for yourself.
We’ve Lost Some Weight
We received quite a bit of feedback saying that our top was heavy. You could only see the heading of the first article and needed to scroll down to read the content. Well not anymore, we’ve lost about 80% of our weight which means you can read a lot more of the first article than you ever could. How’s that for a lighter top?

In case some of you are wondering how we used to look like, I have included a screen shot for you. So what else did we change?
Organized Tabbed Sidebar
We also thought that our sidebar was a bit on the long side. So what do we do?
| New Content | New Comments |
We organized it by grouping certain features into tabs. For example, under the heading Content, you can view Categories, Recent Articles, Top 5 Articles, Tag Cloud and Subscription Links, all with little or no scrolling. Don’t you love it? We sure do.
But that’s not all, we’ve tabbed our comments and social networking offerings as well. Read on to find out more.
Social Networking
![]()
Do you Twit? Well we just started. And what better what than to have our Twitter board here as well? On the sidebar, you will see the Social Networking sidebar. There you will our Twitter board on the first tab (yes we love tabs, can’t you tell?) and Community on the second. So do follow us on Twitter. We would love that. Our URL is:
http://twitter.com/mytodayscreen
Leave us a Twit (is that what it’s called?) And what’s in community you ask? Well it contain links to all our Community like Facebook Group, MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog Community. Do join them if you have yet to do so.
Is There More?
Well for now, that’s it. But we are always open to suggestions (if you can’t tell by now) on how to improve the side. We would love to hear from you on how we can go about doing this so do share your thoughts.

how about cross posting to twitter and jaiku for us Jaiku users? You could start a channel on Jaiku for this site.
let me know if you or anyone on your staff needs an invite.
Cross-posting? What do you mean? Jaiku users can post on Twitter?
no i mean you can use tools that will post to Twitter and Jaiku at the same time. Like Ping.fm , Hellotxt, Imified and among others.
Just to broaden your audience a bit.
Good point. I am still new to this but I will check them out. Any advice would be much appreciated.
