Opening Day 2008

This is the first time I have ever written a mobile post. In other words, both the words and pictures were composed on my Sprint Mogul. The reason I am doing it this way , as you can see, I am nowhere near my laptop right now.

I just wanted to say hello from Opening Day at the Washington Nationals new home, Nationals Field. We are here enjoying the views (that is the Capitol dome below, as seen from the park), food (hot dogs and nachos, natch), and of course, some great baseball (the Nats won 3-2 on a Ryan Zimmerman walk off home run).

Play Ball! Back to Windows Mobile tomorrow.
This mobile posting was kind of fun. I may have to do it again.

Good stuff - the mobile posting and the ‘Play Ball’ factor. This is one of the greatest times of the sports year in my view - Baseball kicking off, March Madness in its final stages, and The Masters next weekend. Love all three …
What a great way to start your blog! Opening Day for My Today Screen is greatly anticipated as is the beginning of baseball season every year. Please include a picture taken with your Mogul next time you post from from an interesting activity.
Thanks, guys. It was a great game and the Nats won 3-2 on a Zimmerman walk off homer in the ninth.
I actually had included two pictures in the post. Not sure why that did not work out. I will try to fix it tomorrow.

Hey Doug,
This post might interest you, it’s about MoBlog, an alternative to Pocket SharpMT:

(and for those interested, here is a post about Pocket Sharp MT: http://spmwinkel.wordpress.com/2008/02/04/blogging-on-windows-mobile-pocket-sharpmt/ )
Hey, SPM. I have to say that I really liked Pocket Sharp MT. It was very easy to setup and use (thanks to the post I found on your site). The only problem I had was with the pictures, which I had to go back and edit in later.
Have not tried MoBlog yet.

Nothing says spring like baseball. The Stadium looks great!!!!!
Good report with great shots of the stadium - looks like the Nationals finally have a permanent home. I enjoy your website but how do you have time to do your “real” job?
Well, my Dad suggested I retire from my real job. I thought that sounded like a pretty good idea.
