As a long time user of Pocket Player it is with great joy that I can announce that Conduits has up-graded Pocket Player to v3.7. This is still my music player of choice as it can do so much and without complaining! And it can take care of most video files too. You can guarantee that I will be up-grading this evening!

So, what have Conduits done to make Pocket Player even better? Hit the jump to find out.
- LIBRARY ENHANCEMENTS: An all new engine powers the media library and browser. Reducing delays and speeding up scanning times. Great! Also, new configurations within the browser are now possible, such as allowing more control over browsing behaviour. And I thought that the old version gave a lot of control!
- LYRICS: Now you can sing along to your favourite tracks, with the lyrics on display. Hello pocket kareoke!
- BLUETOOTH IMPROVEMENTS: The inclusion of AVRCP support. Basically, you can now control PocketPlayer via your BT headset, a feature that I missed in the previous versions.
- UNIVERSAL PLUG-AND-PLAY (UPnP): This has ironed out a lot of bugs & problems that were found in PocketPlayer 3.6. Conduits listened to the customers and found a cure to the problems. This is a real sign of a great developer!
- WAV VOICEMAIL PLAYBACK, OTHER FIXES: Again, bugs and problems from v3.6 have been dealt with.
You can try the 30 day trail version before making up your mind. The good thing is, it´s totally unabridged, so you get to try out the full functionality of this great player.
Pocket Player 3.7 is available from Conduits, or from the all new My Today Screen Store for $19.95. Registered users who purchased Pocket Player 2.X and 3.X after September 2005 can upgrade to version 3.7 absolutely free. Customers who purchased Pocket Player before September 1st 2005, can upgrade for only $9.95.
