Skyfire Mobile Browser…Now Available To All (almost)!
I am quite a fan of the Skyfire Mobile Browser, having first used it when the initial private beta opened several months ago. Until now, however , Skyfire was only available to a small (but growing) group of private beta testers. I felt funny writing about such a fantastic program, which many of you readers could not see or use. I could almost hear the grumblings of, “Elitist jerk” as you read my articles (as well as Tariq’s.) On the other hand, I felt a responsibility to tell you what great things could be coming soon (and no, I did not feel a responsibility to show you what you may have been missing!)
Well, that day has finally arrived. No longer do I need to suffer the slings and arrows of your insults as I bring news of amazing wonders upon which your eyes may never feast. Yeah, that’s right. Skyfire has gone public. With version 0.8, they have thrown open the doors, allowing one and all to come and check out their wares (and by one and all, they actually mean U.S. users only.) Just head over to the Skyfire page and get ready to be dazzled.
For more information and to learn about what is new in version 0.8, check out the full press release, or follow Skyfire on Twitter.

Now all they have to do is add VGA support and I can try this!
