Sony XPERIA X1

Dmitry Ryabinin over at smape.com seems to have gotten his hands on a pre-release XPERIA X1 and given it a fantastic preview.  Especially interesting are the videos he provided of the XPERIA X1 panel interface.  Sony recently released the SDK, so hopefully by the time the device launches there will be even more great panels.  Although there is no official release date for the X1, recent information suggests it could be delayed until 2009.

As for the phone itself, Dmitry praises it for its fantastic screen and ergonomics, but dislikes the keyboard and lack of 3D hardware acceleration. Thanks for the early preview Dmitry!
