SonyEricsson XPERIA X1 Delayed Till End Of Oct

I had recently placed an order for the SonyEricsson XPERIA X1 because I needed a new Windows Mobile device and one that runs T-Mobile USA’s 3G bands (1700.2100MHz bands).

When the order was initially placed, it was expected to be shipped later this week but an email from them yesterday stated that stocks have been delayed till the end of the month. I wonder what’s causing the delay.

Hopefully this is the final delay. Any longer and the X1 would likely suffer the same fate of losing that WOW factor like the Ultimate line in the i-mate series. Already we’re seeing that (the lack of accelerometer in the X1).
