Spb Software House’s Intriguing Announcement

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

image Here at My Today Screen, we typically get dozens of press releases, and most of them are pretty routine.  A new case has been released.  Some software is getting upgraded.  All of it useful information, for sure, but none of it is Earth shattering.  None of it makes me want to shake my computer because I can’t write fast enough to tell you about it.  Well, that is exactly how I felt when I saw the announcement Spb Software House made from CeBit Australia earlier today.

Today, Spb Software House did not announce a new program, but a whole new class of programs.  They announced a new way to interact with your device with a package which they are calling Spb Online Shell.  What is Spb Online Shell?  According to the press release, “Spb Online Shell is an easy to use and engaging single entry portal for online services and payments.”

Sounds intriguing.  I don’t know about you, but I will be anxiously waiting for more details about this one.  Check out the press release and let us know what you think.

Mobile stuff looks like to be the best way to make money for the next years. All computer, communication and tech companies are working hard in this way.

Doug I went to an industry event on monday, Local Telco’s, looking to drive up revenue by getting users to access data more from their handsets, and SPB are enabling it with this release. Not surprising it’s down here, Broad 3G network, and CDMA phased out

Peter, what event did you go to? Any juicy tidbits? I agree that this really seems to be the wave of the future. Telcos get you locked into expensive data plans, software companies get you locked into a subscription plan that you pay for the rest of your life.

Also, it has the added benefit of really fighting pircay. Go ahead and steal it, it won’s do anything unless you pay for the service.

Doug

We’re pretty confused over at JAMM, too. Pretty similar reaction, hahaha.

Doug, Not really Mate, Mobile TV [money spinner] big push to promote users accessing something that’s been available for ages, Telstra driven. They are the equivalent of AT&T here. They Suck.

@ Ragart some of us are confused, Canada!

Some of us weren’t at the event! *cough*
