Sprint’s New Phones

HTC Rapahel

Sprint has been known to not have the coolest, latest phones around. It could be because they’re on the CDMA network which does not have a lot of manufacturers for it. Or it could be something internal altogether. Whatever the reason, that seems to change with the introduction or Diamond and Raphael set to debut later this year.

Remember the spy shot article I was talking about yesterday? Well it seems that one of them is called the Raphael and it’s going to replace the Mogul. It’s also the one that you see pictured here. The other device, dubbed Diamond, is the successor of the Touch. Not much info on these devices at the moment but we do know that they will have WiFi, 3MP cameras and VGA displays. No kidding! The Raphael is slated to go on sale in September with the Diamond following suit in November. That is if there are no more delays. (via Engadget)

I am going to disagree that Sprint does not have the latest coolest phones.

The Mogul was the first WM6 device released and the first to have Rev A. Oh, and it just got GPS.

And the Mogul has been dubbed the workhorse of HTC phones released in that time. Althought I cant find that article.

I love my Mogul.

That’s just once in a very long while which is why I say that. But it’s always good to see these carriers bringing in the latest.

Yeah, I have been on Sprint for a looong time. And I get tired of watching 5 out of every 6 phones go to AT&T or T-Mo. But, I will shut up and be happy if we get the Raphael. :)
