T-Mobile Rolling Out 3G Tomorrow?
According to TmoNews, it would open with NYC on May 1st. This would be Phase 1 as mentioned in the screen shot on the right. Who knows how many phases there would be in all? But one thing’s for sure, it’s definitely happening and here are the cities that will be getting them in order:
- New York
- Austin
- Las Vegas
- Minneapolis
- Miami
Interestingly enough, New Jersey/Long Island which was initially number 2 on the list after NYC has now been removed. Not sure why. T-Mobile also mentions that it plans to expand 3G to more than 20 markets which are:
- New York City
- Austin
- NJ and Long Island
- Las Vagas
- Minneapolis
- Miami
- Dallas
- Chicago
- Houston
- Philadelphia
- Denver
- Detroit
- Orlando
- Kansas city
- Atlanta
- Los Angeles
- New England
- Portland
- Sacramento
- San Diego
- Seattle
- Washington DC
- San Francisco
- Birmingham
- Memphis
- Tampa
- Phoenix
Yeah there are more than 20 markets but that’s what TmoNews is claiming. Guess we’ll have to wait for more information on the dates these cities will be getting the T-Mobile 3G lovin’. (via TmoNews)
