Velocity Mobile’s 103 Coming To A Store Near You

At least that’s what I am hoping. When Velocity Mobile announced their 2 models at this years CTIA, the 103 and the 111, I was pretty impressed with their take on it Mobile professionals from various fields coming together to create Windows Mobile devices the way we wanted them to be.

However, ever since that announcement, there has been no news about the 103 or 111. Which was rather weird because the 103 was slated for release in Q2 of 2008 and for those counting, we’re almost halfway into Q3. Well, put your fears aside because the 103 has just entered the FCC’s database which means it’s just a matter of time before we get to play with it ourselves. Think of it as the Diamond with a larger battery capacity and a simpler Today screen but just as impressive (from the specs at least). Any bets on the launch date of this device? Also, will the 111 be delayed as well? (via Engadget)
