WebIs Releases FlexMail 4
Checking through my feeds today, I was rather surprised when Chris from Gear Diary mentioned that FlexMail 4 (among a number of other software titles) was going to be released. It surprised me even more when I went to WebIs’s site and found out that the software was released on May 30th.
So it looks like we’re first to report that FlexMail 4 has been officially released but what’s even better is what this great software improves on. For starters:
- Better IMAP features support (server search to filter messages, server-side messages parsing, more message operations done over IDLE, single attachment download etc.)
- Supports MMS on most devices
- IMAP server folders redesign (more settings, easier to use)
- Accounts and Application settings redesign
- Single-page view redesign (tabs gone, new left panel with IDLE indication)
- Original Email HTML reply/forward
- New Notification settings (global-account-folder)
- Internal changes (messages saved already parsed, better save/load performance on WM5 etc.)
- Asian Language Encoding Plugin
- Improved internals
It sure looks like FlexMail 4 can now completely replace Pocket Outlook, now that it supports MMS on most devices. And if you don’t use MMS, then you should be replacing Pocket Outlook with FlexMail 4 already.
It’s won best email client since 2004 which shows just how great it is. It supports both Smartphones and Pocket PC so everyone’s covered. Give it a go if you don’t believe me. And if want a license, they go for $29.95 each. Watch out for my review coming out soon.
