What’s Been Brewing Over At Wizcode
So it’s been a while since we heard anything from Wizcode but they’ recently have a 30% discount for all members. Nothing new there. But what’s new is the expiry date which is the 15th of this month. So if you’re on the lookout for some Wizcode love, be sure to hit them up.
Anton also promised some goodness soon but he didn’t say more. Well a recent press release seems to uncover some of it:
Now that’s a good looking program. Hopefully, the taskbar becomes more softkey friendly instead of the 2003-like-taskbar it currently has. That’s not all Wizcode has because there are 3 other useful applications it’s got:
- Wizcode Scan Disk Mobile – check Pocket PC storage cards for problems and automatically fix them. Recover bad sectors from defective media.
- Wizcode Undelete Mobile – recover accidentally deleted files from storage card for Pocket PCs.
- Wizcode Unformat Mobile – recover photos and images, documents and emails, files and data from severely damaged or formatted storage cards.
- Wizcode Data Recovery Mobile – the Swiss Army knife of storage card recovery for Windows Mobile Devices.
These new applications were based on 2 new libraries that Wizcode developed: FATFS and Phoenix and I am sure they are going to be great applications. Any release date Wizcode? (via Wizcode Press Release)

Tariq,
Thanks for your questions!
The task bars of all Evolution based applications are soft key oriented, the screenshots were taken on a WM2003 device hence the WM2003 look and feel. Regarding release dates – we have already announced the beta testing schedule for all 4 Phoenix applications:

By the way these are not the only projects we are currently working on so we will be announcing more exciting new releases soon! Now when our application frameworks are out we can finally focus on real application development and Wizcode will offer the community great productivity in the next few months.
