Just downloaded and tried program.
Attempted to remove a program from the HTC Touch: got error.
Immediately removed the program using system software removal tool.
What kind of error did you encounter? I suggest you contact Wizcode to let them know about it. They’re really forthcoming with support.
Hi jimt29,
I am also curious what the error was? Would it be possible for you to post any additional info?
Thanks,
Anton Tomov
Sorry, When I try new software and it doesn’t perform as expected I generally just remove it.
This program looked like it had potential and so I commented. Probably should have noted the error but didn’t.
I don’t remember what the error was. wish I could be more helpful.
Our QAs were not able to confirm the issue that you reported. I personally tested on more than 5 devices with different OS versions and also did not have problems deleting files. Therefore I do not agree with your statement that the “software is not working as expected”.
As a side note you stated that you attempted to remove a program and also that you were able to remove it using the “system software removal tool”. Would you please specify:
1. Did you attempt to delete an .exe file? Was that file running in memory? Was the error you received a sharing violation/locked file error?
2. By “system software removal tool” do you mean the Uninstall applet in your Control Panel or Pocket Explorer?
If anybody else can confirm this issue I will be happy to investigate and fix it.
By the way the promo offer will expire tomorrow.
Cheers,
Anton Tomov
