Polaroid and Zink Announce Windows Mobile Compatible Portable Photo Printer
In a new partnership, Polaroid and Zink Imaging will be releasing a new type of printer sometime in the future (sorry, no more specific information is available). One interesting thing about this photo printer is that it offers multiple connectivity via PictBridge USB cable and bluetooth. It also uses ink less paper to print images. That means no more going out and buying ink cartridges!
This printer seems to offer endless possibilities for mobile users. Just imagine, you are showing vacation pictures that you took with a friend and he or she wants a copy of it. Just link it via USB or make a connection to it using your mobile device and viola! you can hand it directly to them! Best part, you won’t even have to worry about whether you have enough ink left in the cartridge or whether cartridge may have dried up. With the product being “slightly larger than a deck of cards”, it’s something you can carry around in your pocket and whip out at moments notice.
It appears that there is no official release date for the printer nor does it have an official name yet, but details can be found here.
